DESCRIPTION :

Cemetery in the hills overlooking the Mesaoria and Salamis Bay.

Around 1575 BC., when it had already been in use for at least a century, it received some mass burials ; one tom had between twenty-four and thirty-four bodies. Had this come about through warfare or plague ?

 

Period : Middle Bronze Age
